I don't have any, but I have this fantasy that I meet Nikki Sixx or Tommy Lee and have them autograph my shoulder blade with a Sharpie. Then I run straight to the tattoo parlor.

Rott (my SO) has a band around one leg above his ankle and a customized Queensryche Mindcrime tattoo on his bicep.

Me, I have piercings. Six holes in my left ear. The top 2 are helix piercings through the cartilage (a Double Helix) and I wear purple titanium horseshoe gauged earrings in them. The next hole down is through the cartilage right where the flesh of the lower ear ends. I wear a sterling silver tribal flame in that hole. The 3 lower holes are all flesh piercings. However, all the holes are bigger than a regular earring piercing (which is 18 or 20 gauge). All my holes are 12 or 14 gauge, which is the size of a belly button piercing hole.

I know... I'm weird. I've blogged about my ear before too complete with photo. *sigh*

The book sounds great, Savannah. I'll have to check it out.

I'm considering getting a small one, because I can't handle lots of pain, so I figure a little one would work.

I have six now. A rose entwined with a peace symbol (the only colored one), a Celtic cat, Eye of Ra, Celtic knot, dream in Chinese, and a bow and arrow for Kenyon's Hunters. When I can, I plan to have another bow added so it actually matches the ones depicted on her novels.

I didn't know you were getting a tattoo on your birthday. That is so cool. I can't wait to read this story. The cover is beautiful.

I don't have a tattoo as of yet. Let me know how it goes with you.

I only have one so far - a tattoo with eight bats in it. It's on my upper chest/front of left shoulder.

Actually it has one central vampire bat with detail, sweeping dark shading around the bat and seven other bats in various stages of flight set in negative space around the main one.

The credit goes to the artist Dusty Donnay. I took him some photos of bats I had downloaded and he asked for a couple days to work up something. I came back a few days later and was psyched by what he'd drawn. I love it. I get a lot of compliments on it.

I want more tattoos but right now I don't have money for them. Someday...

As far as piercings go, I only have three holes in each earlobe. Kinda tame there.

Love that cover ;=)

I have one tattoo on my back. Goes from side to side, right below my shoulder blades and spine. It's a butterfly with a flourish behind it.

Despiting being on my spine and tiny bit on my ribs, it barely hurt. It got a little irritating when the artist stayed in one spot too long, but I can honestly say it felt sort of good. Sort of like a really really focused deep tissue massage. Even the healing part wasn't too bad. The worst part was the itching on the second day. Some people take up to 2 weeks to heal, but mine had flaked and was healed over in less than four.

Definitely getting more. I'm going to a big convention at the end of the month, but once I get back, I'm getting two-- matching ones that go from the side of my ribs to my waist (can't go too low in case my shirt rides up at work or around my parents and I either get fired or disowned LOL.)

I have one that goes from my tailbone to just beneath my bra. My brother calls it a "tramp stamp" but no one else does...lol. I'll email you a picture and explain what it means because too many folks get freaked.

The only place it hurt was when the artist had to do the fine detail work with the small needles on my spine in the top sigil. So I can honestly say small doesn't necessarily mean less painful - not if it has a lot of detail or filling in to be done.

I have one tattoo on my shoulder. I can't see it unless I turn around and look over my shoulder in the mirror.

I would like another one, not sure if or when that will happen.

I always said I'd never get a tatto and nowI have two. ;-0 One on my shoulder is a humming bird & flower. The other is on my calf and it's butterflies. Both are done in the blackest ink. I want another and have a design picked out I just have to raise the money. LOL

I have one on my left shoulder blade of the sun and moon entwined.

I would like to get another, a very small one right at the nape of my neck. It would kind of be like a little surprise when I wear my hair up.

For me it didn't hurt very much, but, don't use me as a barometer for pain. My threshold is very high.

And as long as you do what they tell you to do for aftercare, your healing time should be short and sweet.

Can't wait to read the book! Looks great!

I have two tattoo's.

One is on the upper right shoulder, it's a large heart with a ribbon wrapped three times around it with my three girls names in each ribbon that comes across, an open rose and a rose bud on the top of the heart (this is for my two eldest girls, both born on the 13th) and then I have a butterfly just under to the right of the heart which stands for my littlest one.

Then I have a lighthouse on the inside right ankle with water, sunrise, two birds flying, a cloud, sand and a couple of plants.

I plan to get MANY more, just need the funds to do it. I want to get a celtic knot on the inside of my forearm; the young lady, mother and crone on my lower back; a tall lighthouse on my thigh; maybe a braclet and an anklet.

Hey Savannah! I have 7 as of now but I'm in the process of designing 8-10. I think you saw 2 of mine at the SK event in T.O. in August. I have the DH Double Bow on my neck under my hair line with Acheron's Sun below it. Both are done in UV ink so they glow! I have also got a Scottish Thisle on my left shoulder blade, the chinese symbol for strength on my inside left ankle, a vanilla flower on my right big toe and then finally my lower back peice. Its actually 2 tattoos in one. Its a celtic cross with a faery leaning on it with shamrocks scrolling out the sides. I'm designing a dragon to go with it all right now and I want to get Faith, Hope and Love in Gaelic written beneath it. But before that will happen I'm getting Believe and Dream on the insides of my wrists. They are addicting!

Morrigan, yes I did see them...I wish I had seen the rest...They sound like such amazing tats....I so can't wait for mine

*glances around her body*

Now that I have power back, I can actually do this one.

The body is over 50 percent tattooed thanks to an ex hubby who was a tattooist.

To date, I have.. 7 dragons, 1 samurai, 2 Harley, 1 Wizard, 1 barbed wire, 1 tribal, a pentegram, 5 pieces of Celtic, 2 Foo Dogs, 1 dagger,1 Unicorn, 1 lion, a dream catcher 3 pieces of Chinese writing, A thor's Hammer, a pair of koi... *twisting around to look* Oh, yeah, the vikings on one leg, then a naked lady riding a tattoo machine on the other.

I also have experience with doing the procedure having helped the hubby a lot in the shop. *evil grin. I'm also h aving withdrawls. I want another one, but I don't have the cash for it. grrr grrr.
